Default CBR600RR throttle response from 9000RPM!!

Whilst going through some of last summers videos I found this one from Lake Brenig :yikes

I pulled over before the very long stretch that runs down the side of the lake, waited until I was sure the last car was long gone
then took her up to third gear ... I hold her at just under 9,000 rpm in 3rd and then open the throttle to see the response ...

now, although you guys can't feel the sudden shock of acceleration that I got you can definitely see it in the video ... just remeber
it felt a gazillion times faster to me plus it was pulling my wee arms off and my eyes sank back in their sockets ..lol

The power comes in at 0.28 secs, just after a bump in the road

Juliet...all I can say is that I am disappointed to your obvious disregard for others...accelerating like that when you are riding on the wrong side of the road? For shame....for shame... ::grin:: beautiful little stretch of road

Don't you kind of think maybe Jules is from a part of the world where they ride on the 'wrong' side of the road. I think England and Australia are like that.

hee hee -- I wish everyone could feel what my RR feels like on race fuel. I keep her at or over 10,000 rpm all day... my god it feels like she wants to climb the walls. Getting the front end light over the ripples of the track, and trying with all ones might to hold her down.

I love that feeling -- that power hits so hard.
