Can i ask the little story?...
Picked the cbr600 f2 back in the day because I got a decent deal on it, an actual sports bike, the looks of the bike, and it didn't have some tiny ugly thin rear tire (130... looks gay to me).
I've wanted a bike for fifteen years, but there were always other people telling me no (from my folks to an overbearing ex-wife). Finally, I got to a place in time where everything was perfect. The money was there, the new wife likes motorcycles, my maturity level is up to par. So I walk into the Honda shop and sit on the F4i...done, sold, stick a fork in me. Love at first sight!
so i found a pretty nice one in the paper for 3600 bucks! 21,000 miles on it and alls that was wrong with it was the plastic.. the upper was completely screwed so i just got a fiberglass one off ebay and just put some new sprockets, tires, paint and some TLC
ugh that's a horrible deal
I was at a friend's house and and was talking about getting a bike. His girlfriend (also a frined) said to buy his. I said you don't have a bike.? He said yeah I do it's in the garage, I just haven't ridden it in over a year. I had walked past it numerous times without noticing it. I went out and looked at it and jokingly said I would give $5000 for it and he accepted. '03 CBR 954RR Yoshi pipe and only 1300 miles.
That bike is awesome looking.

I work for a marine dealer that takes just about everything in on trade. I saw it had just come in at our service to department, so the techs could eval it. I saw it and about 2 minutes later, stcuk a sold tag on it with my name on it. I traded in a couple of ATVs on it to boot.
Always wanted one and didn't wanna wait another decade. I should have done 14 years ago.....lol
Never gonna quit now!

I finally got a high paying commission job where I got a couple grand a month that I didn't know what to do with so I decided I'd go out and pick up a bike one day... looked around for a week, finally found someone who wasn't an idiot or just trying to rip me off and I got the 954 for $6k just over 6k miles that was 100% perfect bone stock. Haven't looked back since.
Well it all started back in July 2004, my best friend (also my roomate) bought a new black and yellow '04 F4i, and at the same time my other roomate got a blue '04 600RR (and another friend of ours got a red '04 600RR... that had to be a happy salesman that day, LOL). I had never really thought about getting a bike, but following months being around their bikes and going to a few bike nights, it was REALLY starting to grow on me. I loved the look, the sound, the smooth whiny F1 car type sound the little motors make. So one day I finally said "I gotta have one!!". Being a Honda nut that made my choice pretty easy, and between the F4i and RR, I always liked the side pipe instead of the undertail exhaust (though the undertail has grown on me since! But I still like my side pipe), and I had sat on both and the F4i just seemed to fit me like a glove. It was also my first bike so I wanted something a little more laid back than the RR. So that was it, I had my heart set on an F4i, but debating for the longest time new vs used, warranty vs no warranty, yada yada yada, back and forth. Then in October '04, sunday the 17th to be exact, my roomate (with the F4i) had to go to Rick Case Honda (where he bought his bike) to buy some stuff, so I tagged along just cuz I had nothing better to do... he rode his bike there and I followed in my cage. I start looking around the showroom, lots of bikes I liked but one caught my eye. Well long story short, about 5 hours later, and 2 hours after the dealer already closed, I found myself the proud owner of a shiny new red and black F4i, fresh off the showroom floor with a whopping 3 miles on it
We ended up having to leave his bike at the dealer, he rode my new bike home cuz part dept was closed and I had no helmet yet. I followed in the cage, then after dropping my bike at home drove back to the dealer and picked his bike up and back home. As the saying goes... the rest is history
2 years 1 month and 2 weeks, and 73,400 miles later, I still love my bike as if it were my kid, and have absolutely no regrets whatsoever with my purchase
As for the other 3 bikes....
- the red 600RR was stolen December 26, 2004
- the yellow F4i was sold October 2005 to a guy that later joined our local forum, and I rode with quite a bit. He then bought a 1000RR and was trying to sell the F4i, don't know if he ever did (haven't talked to him in awile)
- the blue 600RR was stolen Febuary 17, 2006 - replaced a couple months ago though with an '06 GSX-R 600
Soooo mine is the only one remaining, LOL.

^I'm waiting for the day when you sell the bike on craigslist.
FS: Mint 04 cbr600 f4i 72k miles
You'd prolly have 80% of your emails be like, "Did you mean 7,200 miles?" LOL

I don't think I could bring myself to sell my bike though
It's like an old dog, taken me everywhere I've asked it to take me (which as you can probably tell, has been quite a few places! haha) without ever giving the slightest bit of trouble whatsoever. Still as reliable as old faithful! Not like I could get anything for it anyways. I'll just run it until it dies, then rebuild it with HRC everything
I'll probably buy another bike too, I still want my RC-51 or maybe even a Repsol 1000RR, but not now sometime in the future
