Camera Location
I have no idea if this is where I should post this but it seemed logical. My awesome girlfriend bought me a GoPro camera for Christmas and I am trying to decide where to place mount it. I am open for suggestions. Its main purpose will be for recording my track days but will also video the occasional day trip rides. If you could please post your thoughts and some videos that would be great, thanks. By the way I have a 02 Honda F4i

On the helmet of a faster guy than you, facing backwards. Less vibration, and you can use the footage to improve your riding.
I found the following
1 Mounted on your own bike (not helmet) too much vibration
2 Who wants to see videos of someone else's bike ?
unless it's a chick and she has a great a-s.
3 If you can, mount a separate microphone out of the wind.
Covering wind noise with music is fine, but I want to hear the BIKE
My 2c worth, after many experiments.

Thanks
Thanks everyone for the input. I guess you can say I went ahead and took everyone's advice. I just went and bought a bunch of different mounts and put them in different locations. The first one sits on the very front of the bike looking forward ( I put it in front of the tank because I have a tinted windscreen and it was hard to see) , one on the tip of the tail ( It can face forwards or back), one on each side of the fairing above my frame sliders angled in so that I can catch a bit of my front tire as well as the world in front of me( this view is mainly for catching my lean angle at the track). I put one on the side of my tail faring looking down at the rear wheel and a bit of the road, one on the front part of my tank looking up at me, and then one on the helmet. I've been getting great videos on the road. I will switch the camera position throughout the ride do get all the angles. I am putting together one right now when I finish it I will post the link so everyone can check it out. Thanks again everyone for the input.
