pretty good riding. what happened at 58 seconds in. thats some wild tank slap. i thought the hesd was supposed to take care of that?

That guy sure can ride! Backing it in a little, pulling up the wheel exiting corners and passing everyone!

 

yea he was doing some mad trail braking!! pretty sweet video.. i hope to get 1 track day in soon.. jennings GP is the closest.. but i will be at Rodae Atlanta this weekend for the races..

 

I'm headed to jennings this sat man. sunny 90 degrees. Dont think ill be wheelie'n outta corners and sliding into them tho.

 

Ledesma is one of the really fast guys here in the Southwest. He also races AMA nationals. I had the the honor of having him pass me. Thought I was going fast, but, he came by like I was standing still.

 

here's a pic of the 1000rr he was riding in the video. i think at the last race i attended he said the bike was around 190 hp.

Yup, that is Marc's style allright. That boy is hella fast! I've known Marc since he was working at Kelly's Kawasaki, and was racing the CCS on his ZX7RR! Then he moved over to the Honda shop and has been sponsored by them ever since. He races in the AMA now in the Superstock 1000 class and the 600 Supersport class, then he also races in the Superbike class whenever he can get his lap times up to par with the bigger boys! I see him most of the time up at Fontana, CA. Couple of times back in Phoenix. But then he goes out and races so don't see him too much anymore.

I have ridden that track, I like Firebird West more, but DAMN, I am nowhere even close to half as fast as he is!!!! I think I timed one of his laps and he was around 54 sec per lap average. My lap times on that track are like 1 minute 30 sec!!!! Heh heh heh... I might be a little quicker now those were back in 01-02 timeframe. I think I am a little quicker now!
