Had a nice little ride this past weekend. Some might have seen some pics already but I gotta post mine too I went up to Orlando on saturday, stayed the night, then sunday met up with my buddy Calvin, then met up with the rest of the group and had an awsome ride to someplace called Sugarloaf. It was great riding with Calvin again... haven't seen him or ridden with him since April 2005! All in all.... another great weekend with an awsome ride and great times spent with friends

Saturday evening... finally found a place to crash for the night. Everybody was booked! I rode around for an hour and a half before finding this place


Had to do a little rearranging in the room to make space to bring the bike in. Ain't no way I was gonna leave it outside, so the fridge and micro had to go!


Sunday morning.... Calvin came to meet me at the motel so we could ride over to the meet spot


Met up with the rest of the group

After the ride, Calvin and I went to get some lunch


Time to head out


After that, made my way to Kissimmee. Since I was going right by there anyways, I stopped by my buddys Dennis' house to see if he was home. Sure enough! He's on my Accord forum (www.3geez.com)... his hatchy is an '87 believe it or not.. MINT condition!


After that, made my way over to Melborne to another buddys house for the new years festivities. My roomate Rooz and some other friends from SoFla all came up to Melborne sunday afternoon, so I met them there


I was soooo paranoid having to leave my bike outside in the parking lot at their apartment building... I was going out every 15 minutes to check on it


I knew I wasn't gonna be able to sleep, so later that night I had my friend park his car in front of the bike to help hide it a little. We also had a truck in the spot to the left too, so you really couldn't see it unless you were looking for it

We all went to get some breakfast (at 1:00 pm, LOL). Pulled in and whaddya know, another bike!

Its posts like these that make me wish I lived in a hot climate.
I only get about 7 months of good weather to ride in here in Canada.

looks awesome, I can't wait to get some big trips setup. We had a pretty good group of 6 people last weekend for one of the local rides, but we're planning a trip out to laguna seca for the 07 MotoGP. I'll start an appropriate thread when the time to start organizing gets nearer.

 

What's it like wearing a helmet in Florida, though?

That's all I wanna know. Pretty hot I imagine...

whats your mileage at now?

 

It's not that bad, especially this time of year. During the summer when going slow it gets a little toasty but nothing untolerable or anything, plus my vents on my Shoei work great! I usually just ride with the visor popped open to get a little more airflow and it keeps me cool.
