RE: 50,000 baby YEA!!!
Actually miles on a bike are nothing like miles on a car. 100,000 miles on a bike and the bike will still be running good. Normally in a car thats the drop off point of power. Ive seen guys on bikes runnin higher miles than that and their bikes run great. just keep up the maintenance...
Actually most of the time people think that its amazing that people hit high mileage numbers on bikes because so many bikes get totalled before they even come close to reaching 100,000 miles.
By the way, I just got my BIKE FRIENDLY stickers in the mail today. Pulled them out and stuck them on just a little bit ago

I've put 10000 kms on my bike since august, yes, 6000 miles, and i don't have my full liscense yet, so for a long time i had to ride with someone, and until wednesday, i can't ride at night... and the bike was sleeping from november to end of march.. I bought the bike with 30000 kms and it's at 40,500.. I figure I'll have at least 15000 more by the end of summer, and it's quite possible i'll put 20000 on it.. I've put 1/4 of the miles on that bike in 6 months, and it's an 18 year old bike

Damn, that's amazing. You inspired me to calculate how long it would take for me to reach that milestone ASSUMING I rode my bike to work everyday. Just a little over 5 YEARS and I'd catch up to you! You rock buddy, can't wait to see the 100k pic you send us. Probably by next year right?
