Default Gas Tank Question

I found this tank for sale locally, the seller doesn't know what bike it came from. Looks like an F2 or F3 tank to me, very similar to the '93 F2 color scheme. Can anybody say for sure?

Not sure from looking at the pic, but the paint scheme appears to be that of an F2.

Thanks for the input, I'll compare it to my current tank. I've read f2 and f3 tanks are interchangeable?

TBH, I don't know for sure. Fromthe pic, it looks the same as my f3. I have a spare one on the shelf I could take photo of if you'd like to compare.

As fas as i can I can see it matches my tank. I'll snap a few pics in just a bit, in the middle of painting the kitchen for the wife.

There you go. That is an original 98 600 f3 tank.Well the grime and huge dent aren't original, I had to pay extra for that.
