What not to do
Went for a ride Sunday with a bunch of people about 30 of us, great ride good people, awesome time (for the most part).
I knew some of the rides from prior and met some new ones. Then had a great cook out!
Anyway there was one issue that I wanted to share with you.
The leaders of this ride were not the brightest candle on the cake. I don't care what you ride in (gear) it's your choice and if you go down and get hurt I will not feel sorry for you.
The issue lies in the fact that these few individuals decided to do wheelies, go screaming down the road, etc.
If they had gone down while doing somethign stupid like that in a group, I would have left there bloodied asses on the rode and kept going. Harah? Maybe, but if they don't respect the fact that there are other humanbeings that they put into what can become a dangerous situation, then they don't deserve my respect as a humanbeing either.
Just remember that a little respect goes a long way! I'll repsect you by not being stupid and I would appericate the same.
Be smart and ride safe!

I totally agree with you man...I recently bought my bike and haven't been on any big group rides yet but stories like that are why I am tentative to go with BIG groups, just a few buddies are good with me!
ive ridden with a couple large groups at times mostly friends of friends and while i dont agree with that kind of behavior on public roads the guys i ride with who enjoy stunting on public roads at least do it at the back of the group in case one of them goes down...that just seems like common courtesy if you ask me.
