I'm ridin' my '01 929RR y/b and my boy is ridin' his 02 GSX-R 750 y/b. We leave Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point located off Hwy 70 in North Carolina. We take Hwy 70E to Hwy 24W through Jacksonvill, NC. We jump on Hwy 17S through Wilmington, NC until it merges with Hwy 74/76W toward Florence, SC. Hwy 74/76W becomes just Hwy 76W all the way to Shaw Air Force Base. We kicked it and rode the town before terrorizing an impressing a few Airmen and crashing for the night. The next morning, we rode back out Hwy 76E to I-95N and rode it to across the NC/SC border to Lumberton, NC and got off on Hwy 41E. We rode Hwy 41E back to Hwy 70E to MCAS Cherry Point, NC. A total of about 575 miles and a lot of impressed car drivers at our riding skills later, we rested. Oh yeah...the cop we tailed wasn't too happy with us and wasn't willing to pull over and get behind us to take his chances on back roads. Oh well! Keep huggin'!
