Default Rode almost 300 miles today

It was a nice few hundred miles.. some interstate, some country and the night ride home was pleasant

That makes it 2000 miles since the second week of February.

How about you guys hows your season starting out?

I have put about 800 or so on it. I did a trip to PA and back (485 miles round trip) which took up most of that. The weather this weekend is going to be crappy here but next week will be nice.

Sounds like some good road trippin I drive 30m a day so that makes up some of mine but joyriding Im sure has accumulated more for me.

How many close calls/near misses? :P We all hope for none but of course because of other drivers(sometimes) this is impossible

I've had a few, a couple other drivers not paying attention and once around a mid speed corner I was maybe gettin it too much and lost rear wheel traction for a second but recovered, thankfully.

I'll be investing in some frame sliders soon I think.

I've put close to 700 miles on mine. Most of it is from joyriding after work and weekends. Also a few trips to the dealership for maintenance I plan on going to Arizona soon, and that'll be my first long trip. (around 800 miles total). I've had a few close calls as well. Albuquerque have a few lights that tend to change pretty quickly, and I've locked my back brake a few times trying not to run the light.

I was quite scared how smooth it was when I was skidding to a stop. It's almost like you're floating

Yeah, that reminded me of a near miss I forgot to mention, probably the worst one too.

3 pedestrians crossing a 4 lane road, my bright yellow bike must not be obvious enough, I was at the speed limit(40 give or take a couple).

When they walked in front of me (about 20 yards ahead) I didnt really react quick enough to swoop in another lane, not to mention when they finally seen me they froze like deer, amazing.

But ya I too was skidding and your right it is like floating. I probably skid about 15 or 20 feet before regaining traction and quickly switching lanes. Didnt even have time to give em the middle finger.

Scary stuff

Almost 600 two weeks ago, went to va beach then up the delmarva to baltimore then back home. I'm going to say I've put around 1200 on mine so far, with no real near misses.

I've only ridden to work a few times this year. Weather has been pretty crappy except when I've been busy.
