Im about to take a trip to Key West from Orlando. It will take place in April around the 20 or the 25. Im moving to Orlando April 8 for school at MMI (Motorcycle Mach. Inst.) and then getting settled and heading out in a couple of weeks after that. Map quest said it would take 5 and a half hours. But thats not counting the traffic on two way bridge connecting the southern tip of florida to the keys. So im just wondering if anyone has taken that ride before, and if so how long did it take? Thanks for the feedback.

Hey man I'm from orlando and have taken many spring break trips from here to key west. It takes about 4-4 1/2 hours from her to miami, maybe less on a bike but after that it's hard to gauge because like you said it's a two lane road all the way to key west. I'm not sure how aggressive you ride but you could get stuck behind a long line of cars and it could take you another 2-2 1/2 hours or more to get to the bottom of the keys...but what a beautiful ride...have a blast!!!!!!!!!
