RE: northern california
I live near Bridgeville in Humboldt County. I drive on Highway 36 to go to work and to get to Interstate 5 when I visit Sacramento where my family is.
If you want a challenging road to ride, it's 36! My last ride to Sac was traffic city and too busy for my bike to have fun.
Where about in Sac are you so I can get my bearings? Too bad it's raining like mad here, it just started and it's hit or miss when it gets dry enough to ride hard.
I ride an 06 CBR1000RR, blue and yellow. The last group ride I did was a benefit for Polo Plus to raise money for Rotory International. We went from Anderson to Red Bluff, up 36 to A16 to Platina and then to Anderson. The destination was to a rider's house that makes custom seats for bikes, nice seats!
I get in your area when I want to or when I have to, but it's prettier in the redwood forest than the valley. Ride on.........
