A group of us are heading out the Weekend of April 18th from Central/North Jersey down to Hampton, VA. It's about a 6 hour ride and we will probably only stop for gas. I have never been on a ride this long and I was wondering if anyone had any advice as to what I need to do to make it the most enjoyable I can.

Also There is no indoor parking where we are going to be staying so are there any suggestions as to how I can secure my bike so it won't be stolen?
