Default My first ride

..even though I was on the back :/ My bike will come soon enough. Regardless of what my brother said yesterday, my husband and I went for a nice ride with a few buddies. Round trip was about 90 miles. I never knew sitting on the back of a bike could be such a chore! lol

My favorite things? The wind, The adrenaline, and the smells! I live in FL by the beach and was amazed to smell 3 wood burning fires. From fires to salt water, the entire ride was awesome. Crossed a couple bridges and took a couple sharp turns. (yikes)

Things I didn't like? Clunking helmets ( I learned to control that pretty quick) leg cramps, and not being able to see infront of me or control the bike!

Pics: From my house, to meeting up with another rider, and then finally getting home and to a gas station to bring home a few beers. (we own the Hurricane)

yep. you don't get any appreciation for all the subtle differences in the air when you're in a cage. it's no wonder dogs can't resist hanging out the window.

Not to mention the change in air temeratures also. I was amazed to feel these sudden cold patches of air.. then hot, then cold. It was a great feeling.

Sounds like you had a great time. :-)

Hope you have your bare skin covered & wearing gear.

You know you've got to get your own bike soon now don't you? ;-)

haha YES the Suzuki is loud! He is going to have my husband put some new exhaust on it. Our hurricane is nasty loud too since my husband gutted the muffler :/ lol.

Sprock- the back seat isn't bad... but my back sure hurts today! I had a great time though.
