Had the pleasure to ride up the Dalton hwy during the last week of August and meet some great riders!!

I had the pleasure to met Blake(gsxr) , his wife Tiffany and their great friend Eddie in Denali, they had just rode from Prudhoe and are on their way to Anchorage , while i was going up, Blake and Eddie both rode from Geogia, While Tiff flew in and rented a bike.
by riding up to Alaska, Blake has Finish riding all the 50 states!! congrats to him !!

and then Cardoctor showed up...he's an ADV whom flown in from Philly and rented a bike. His goal, RIDE up to Prudhoe Bay.

We met up in fairbanks,, camp the night and prepared to ride the :haul A$$ " road together..

I'm new to the CBRForum and was using the search function to search for suspension related topics--I'm a very light rider and I see radical changes to the bike's suspension parts in my future...--when I cam across this awesome thread. nuttynu, that is amazing stuff!!! Love the knobbies

All this time I've been worried about hurting my CBR because I have to drive 1.5 miles on a dirt road to get to the nearest paved road and seeing your travels has put my mind at ease. I had a feeling these bikes could do a bit more than smooth pavement.

I'm near Lake Ann, Michigan, not too far south of the 45th parallel. Never done anything like that on the bike though, great stuff!!!
