There are a bunch of us heading to Elkhart Lakes Wisc for the AMA superbike race...its in the off topic section if your interested...

 

not to bust out another forum but chicagolandsportbikes.com has a listing of all local rides that people put together all the time. might be worth your time to check it out.

 

don't know whereabouts in illinois that you are from, but saturday june 10 there is party/bike show in terre haute, indiana. it's put on by the local victory dealer but there will be bikes of all kinds there (at least there was last year). free food, live band, and even a bike giveaway (victory of course). it was a blast last year.

 

yeah if anyone in and around the western burbs in illinois is looking to ride this is going on this weekend.

highway 51 past chester illinois is a hell of a ride.. great twisties.. who all around here is from southern illinois

kick *** road.. alot of hidden dog legs and corkscrews wiht winding hills and some mini banks.. we only rode 51 for about 10 miles before we headed home.. does it get better???
