Default My son and I Phillip Island 2011

Hi Guys,
I haven't been around for a while so I thought I'd post a couple of Youtube videos I made from my recent trip to Phillip Island on the old girl. With approx 180 kg on it she was a little light on the front but the power and grunt is still there. We are in the Victorian high country between Alexandra and Lake Eildon. 80 km of twisties. Cheers.

Hey Classic,
Good to hear from you mate. Actually the front tyre copped a hiding and was shot by the time we got home. I have a nice new PR 2 on there now and am running them as a set now. The back tyre is awesome. I hardly marked it. Is a nice road in there mate. Lots of gravel on some corners which is why you will see me slow considerably at times. Have to be careful mate with the young bloke on the back. Other than that he is happy to get along pretty well which is good. He is a great little pillion. Cheers.

Yeah mate we got her out and he batted on. He bent the front fairing stay and I'd say did some damage to the steering cause he couldn't get it around any corners after that. I'm sure he got it fixed now. He just ran out of room in that corner and didn't want to hit the other guy so he sat it up and that's what happened. Was going fairly slow thank christ. Cheers mate.

Great quality footage from those helmet mounted cams, what sort are they?
Glad to see he got to live and learn, good sport of him to bail so as not to hit the guy in front, quite a gentlemanly thing to do!

Thanks guys. The guy on the super duke KTM 990 had one of those HD Contour Cameras. The guy that crashed had some type of one that the army uses in Afghanistan he told me. He had it on the bike for some of the trip and when he crashed it was on his helmet.
