Default Google Maps 3D

Anybody tried Google Maps 3D for route planning? Looks pretty cool...

Directions in 3D - Maps Help

Here's a trip I made up a little earlier:
Kalispell-Eureka-Koocanusa-Libby-Thompson Falls-Kalispell
Just click on the 3D tab by where it says "Driving directions to Kalispell, Mt"

I only just mastered using regular google maps and transferring them onto Google Earth....lol.

I think when you create a route on the Google link I provided, then hit the "3D" tab, it automatically imports a Google Earth-type map to display the route on. Key word being "I think" I'm no computer expert, so I'm not 100% sure....

Me either but its basically what I was doing but in 3D. The one I did is 2D. Looks the goods though and would be good to plan the next trip on.
