So what exactly is the game plan here... I have been looking for a good excuse to ride the tail and have several kinks to work out in the mean time. Looks like I have enough time to fix the head gasket before making the trip. So all in all I am down for the ride

Hey the more the better, StriperAngler.

Hey Sprock, If you ride down, I was thinkin we should go grab that Coast-to-Coast Challenge sprocket and haul it to the Dragon and then to Birmingham. We can put it on display in the Barber Museum! Then maybe we can find a CBR Rider going west. Whada ya think?

Hopefully the head job is going to be done with in the next few weeks so I should definitely be in on the fun. I live in north Ga so I don't know about the camping, but it would be nice, although money is a huge issue. So to be totally off subject I have made a few post regarding rearsets that I am looking for and I am also trying to find an intake gasket and head gasket for cheap. I would appreciate any insight you guys may have. (Cant afford the whole gasket set). Will be looking forward to meeting everyone on the run. How many bikes usually turn up?

I will come down for the week day riding, I am not sure about the Birmingham thingy. I don't know if that is my cup of tea.

What's not to like??? More riding to get there. See more cool bikes than you ever imagined. Hang out with a couple thousand like minded riders and talk bikes. Motorcycle racing and stunt show, an airshow, and track food for lunch! I'll bring the tea if that's what it takes.
