Good trip so far. Nice weather all day for me. Malbojah made it in one piece. Picked up some spare parts!

First a little Saturday night prep for race day.

Back up on the mountain.

Through rain, snow, sleet...well maybe some fog.

 

Low flyin clouds at 5000 ft. We ran up into this stuff. We could only see about 50ft at best much of the time. The good news was, new pavement. The bad news was no line markings in the road and the car in front of us did not turn on their lights.

 

A few more from the road:
Lunch at Ed's with some of the locals. Looks like another relative of Sprocks there.
Tried to get Malbo to get up on this saddle.
More high on the hill.

We checked with the Cupcakes today. They said "after Sprock, they are just ruined for life". Not sure what that meant but it was clear we didn't want to know either.

We hit the Skyway, Foothills, and Dragon today. It's been chilly. Malbo had to go buy him some bigboy pants to stay warm on the mountain tops.
