from belfast to italy(cheating)
my first road trip.
January,never been abroad, so i ordered my passport, and got it about 3weeks later after an interview lol
february, club meeting,and confirmed dates, so straight home and paid for my flights,,,
got a wee ride-out too on one of the dry days, the end of last years tyre is done,, to the wire,,, and the rear pads are shot.
So,, the agenda this week is tyre and pads..

tax is due at the end of feb, and M.O.T. mid march.
club first run is a biggie, on the 6th of march,, i'll get a few snaps of the turn out.
update again soon.
.**TODAY**
wheel out, oil and filter changed, plugs changed, air filter ok.
also radiator drained and flushed through and replenished.
run to temp and check fan.
*chain and both sprockets changed october last year,and there's only a couple of hundred miles on it, front pads changed then too.new downpipes early last summer.

BTW you say you have never been abroad ..... well Italy is most certainly a great place to
head to on your trip.

well its been busy in my house,
the youngest son got his wee rs50 aprilia tuono on the road, and with MOT inspection, the wee thing eats headlight bulbs, so i'm fiddling with a spare lens trying to install LED's and a switch,,
*got new gloves, helmet and therma-cool top&trousers for the trip this month
club run *so we got a run out last week there, the tyre's well scrubbed in, pads bedded in, and 24 bikes hit the coast for our club run.
here they are all, with a few out of site in the distance parked behind.
think i'm the 3rd one from the left, a good mix of bikes out.

.i think the verified number going to stelvio so far is 14, hope to get 3-4 more to fill the truck up. details are on our main and facebook pages
not a lot of organising for me to do for now, just save save save.

right, bike has had a once over, tyres filled with nitrogen,
number plate(standard) fitted, spare bulbs, some tools(not a lot as we'll share all the basics), mini cam mounted,
11 days to loading &
18 days to flight
sleepless nights are started

Hope it's a great trip Ken ...... wish I was doing Stevio with yez, but hey me and CB2CBR and potentially one other will be up in Canada at the same time
