That was an attempt to try the bb code so there must be something I am missing

 

I'm trying to do it on an iPad, does or will that make a difference or harder.
I did notice trying to highlight the URLs or bb code it was like the little blue bar was spring loaded and every time I would spread it over the length it would just spring back to nothing
