wow, didn't know WSBK was capping bike costs....

even though i don't really know how much of a cap 250,000 euros is.... we're going to get more riders by making privateer racing bigger....

privateers aren't spending even close to 250k euros .....

Capping is stupid at the elite levels. If they want privateers to compete, make a series for it. There needs to be a place for the best riders on the best bikes without money or anything else holding them back. The manufactures need to be able to spend insane amounts of money in our economies to fight each other.

oh, i'll be watching too. honda is going to have a good team this year, they haven't been too competitive as of late - but the ride by wire helped a lot when johhny rea got it last season.... so hopefully they'll get some good results this year.

eugene laverty is a great rider - i bet he'll even be better this year than he was last year. it's kind of weird they signed guintoli as his teammate - i figured they would have gone after a bigger name (not that guintoli isn't a bad rider - he's pretty good)

ducati will be interesting to watch with the new panigale.... checa and badovini seems like a good team.

i can't wait! just a few more weeks 'til phillip island!

Yeah but what about that pink elephant? Im kinda torn myself. Price capping might level thhe field, making it truly rider vs rider. But same time, i like to see what happens when they go nuts with the checkbook.

They are talking price capping and even trying other things to bring WSB racing to a more affordable arena because sponsors are dropping in which means more one rider teams and even less teams at whole.
