I'd watch out for Crutchlow next year as well. He's going to be tough, he's already faster than Toseland on the R1.

Why is everyone beating up on Toseland?

Not sure why Toseland is getting a bad rap... But I think next year will be very exciting MotoGP & WSBK. Maybe some of the AMA guys will cross the waters to partake... We'll get a preview of what Spies will be like next year. I think Simocelli will look good too. Maybe Honda will put a good bike on the track... I have a question... So put on your investigative skills to use. Can someone come up with a cost to operate a MotoGP &/or WSBK team for a season? I am trying to see why are the companies using the economy to cut back or lack of participation in racing.

I was reading an article about the upcoming Moto2 series in RRW. One of the companies talked about making an economical chassis that was still competitive. They stated that they could make it cheaper than anyone else and provide it to teams for only $145,000.

Now stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

Toseland gets a bad rap because he has yet to post any decent finishes in his GP career. I don't think he's ever even been a top 10 runner. You could say the same about a lot of guys in GP I guess but when you have the hottest thing in mc racing (Spies) you gotta make some decisions.

There was a video on Moto 2 explaining it's role and purpose and it seems like every other racing venture out there. Those with the most money win

There's a recent article in Sport Rider (?) talking about Randy dePuniet having one of the smallest teams in MotoGP and that the annual team budget is $8.4m, with a "scant" budget for Brembo of $25,000. I don't have the funds to make a GP bike go, or make one stop for that matter (LOL).

Wow!!! Thats a pretty penny... But I do think it turns around in sells. What did ya think of Spies results as a Wild Card? Should we start a 2010 Racing Thread?

Haven't yet seen the last round of the 09' MotoGP. I guess you're saying he did well, eh? Actually I totally forgot that he was in it.
