Nope!!! I guess Tech 3 isn't happy with Toseland... So they will move Spies up to the MotoGP team. Toseland's agent is suppose to be negotiating to get Toseland to replace Spies in WSBK.
I finished catching up on World Supersport. Crutchlow is Da Man.
I think Toseland has been doing better than Vermeulen. Don't get me wrong, I like Chris, but dang...I forgot that he was even a GP rider. I knew Suzuki was a bad idea.

All in all I often wonder, how much is it the bike or the rider??? On of my co-workers & I talk about this & his take is @ the MotoGP level you must know how to develop a bike as well as ride it. He thinks thats why Repsol kicked Nicky to the curb for Pedrosa. That Nicky won off the bike Rossi developed. So if this theory is true, my apply to Toseland.
Not true. Repsol had a long relationship with Dani and them being a Spanish company, they strong-armed HRC into steering the bike in Dani's direction. Development continued in Rossi's absence.
Honda's culture is biased toward engineering data at the peril of rider input, which is why Nicky was always riding experimental equipment the year he won the title. He complained about it, while Dani was on the proven machinery. HRC doesn't care if the rider complains.
Toseland is on a satellite Yamaha. They have ZERO development input. They ride what the factory gives them. Most factories allow basic adjustments (rake, trail, etc.).
Speaking of which, this is the reason American Honda wanted to break ties with HRC to develop the FX 600RR. They were disallowed to do ANYTHING to the bike, except maintenance. HRC was really specific about how they wanted the bike setup and what equipment had to be on it and it was shipped here in that fashion.
I read a few pages of Rossi's autobiography online (google books) and he talks about the culture of HRC and how it's similar to Ducati and why he went to Yamaha.
