Moral of the story is don't buy an AGV

his helmet split in half.

It didn't split in half but it did come off...

rip. He had a lot of talent and potential. Was cool seeing him rise up in MOTO2

he crashed in the worst way possible. Getting caught under two bikes...

Yeah, sad. He was a very competitive & talented rider. Considering how often these guys crash during poll & testing & the amount of work that's gone into trying to make this as "Safe" as possible (or safer would be a better description), it comes as a bit of a shock.

Yeah I saw it this morning, I recorded the race. It is really sad. We lost Dan Wheldon last weekend and Marco this weekend. What is going on!. RIP Marco Simoncelli

its just pretty creepy now after reading this article the other day about baja racer rick huseman dying after the death of dan wheldon, that starts with " "If bad news comes in threes, we don't want to know when the other shoe will drop..."
