Ama 2014

Welp...
Only 5 rounds this year....
March 13 – 15 – Daytona International Speedway, Daytona Beach, Fla.
May 30 – June 1 – Road America, Elkhart Lake, Wis.
June 21 – 22 – Barber Motorsports Park, Birmingham, Ala.
July 19 – 20 – Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Lexington, Ohio
September 13 – 14 – New Jersey Motorsports Park, Millville, N.J.
Because of the absolute fail - GEICO (who was contracted through 2014) and National Guard (who could have re-contracted with another team or the sbk series) have said bye-bye.
How does this happen?

Indubitably. It's hard to even get into. I don't understand how DMG could have screwed things up THIS bad. 5 races? 5 RACES???!!!!! I don't see how they're going to keep sponsors and teams after '14. EBR and MJM are already gone. National Guard and Geico are gone as sponsors.
The only good news is that the big bikes are going to be doing the Daytona 200 again in '15. (Haha, and it'd be funny if this weren't too true, but.. that's IF we get to '15....)

I didn't realize he was staying in the series. That's good, at least. When was it announced that Pegram was switching to EBR? It must have been one of the earlier articles I read that made it seem EBR was pulling out completely to focus on WSBK.
