Great news and at the same time I kinda thought so. Danny Eslick one of the most talented riders in the field is riding for EBR racing on a EBR 1190RS. THe bike I know is awesome. Great to see Erik get a young top rated rider.

Actually he rode for Richie Morris. The EBR is actually different in every aspect other then the engine shell. Nothing from the Buell 1125r exists in the EBR. The bike is highly...highly up to the task. Thing is Danny has a learning curve to learn 1. a new bike, 2. Riding a Superbike, 3. SLICKS are not like race compound tires that of Daytona sportbike. It'll be interesting for sure. I kinda knew he was going there. I'll have to stop in EBR's shop Erik's shop is about 35 minutes from my house. Funny.... would you believe Jordans team and EBR's shop's are both located in East Troy Wi. and about 1/2 mile apart from one another.LOL

o there is for sure a learning curve.... but i just feel like he has more raw ability than any of the other riders in the ama - or at least in sportbike if not superbike. he looks like he never has to struggle.
i know he won't be at the front right away, i'm sure he wont really be right up there with geoff right away, but he will be later.
i just think its a shame that in the AMA - the champion of daytona sportbike (runner up the year before that, and champion the year before that) didn't have a ride for the next season locked down until recently.
and ya, you're lucky you have those two teams so close - especially EBR.
not to mention, you have one of my favorite tracks close to you - road america

Actually he did it just wasn't released. Erik I know wanted to make room for him. Thing was securing sponsorship to field two bikes. The sponsor has not been released yet but will very soon. As far as him running up with Geoff ?? I'd have to say he will right out of the gate. It may take him a bit to get to Hayes, bostrom and Hayden. Danny is a all guts rider. I actually got a great phone call today and a close friend of mine Mike Kirkpatrick just got hired onto Geoff Mays team and will also be working for EBR Racing.
