Yeah, I think JLo will do great on the Duc - and it'll be played up to his "alien" status but will be actually due to the timing of it.

Put anyone on that Duc Vale and Nicky rode - no one would get it done. No one. Casey wouldn't have even done it on that Duc.

But Gigi is onto something there.

Well pretty interesting start to the weekend. Vinales official on the Yamaha for 2017, 18. That's gonna be a pretty awesome season. Very interested to see how the Ducati handles next season. Marquez would have a better shot at wrangling the ducati over JL but with JL's consistency and precision it will be a challenge.

Pretty interesting front row... Vinny almost took that pole away from Rossi too at the last second.

I sort of wish that Iannone took pole - but p3 is great and I couldn't believe how poorly Dovis done so far this weekend. We'll see how the race goes, but there could be some serious buyer's remorse coming to Ducati...

Yeah it was. Would have loved to have seen how it would have played out if Rossi didn't blow his engine... Looked like he had something for JLo.

All of the races were good.

That was one of the more disappointing mechanicals I've seen, Rossi could have won that race.

Hard to believe they didn't put a fresh engine in after what happened to Jorge .

The engine rule is ridiculous, I can't believe there isn't a better way to control costs without punishing the rider that way

Its a load of B.S. Can you imagine how much cheaper it'd be to produce an engine for each race (that only had to last 1 race) as opposed to making them do several weekends at a time?

All of the costs are now due to electronics anyways, not hard parts....

And look at how much money is being spent on the winglets... Its stupid....

I also think Yamaha's "they over-revved the engine" excuse is a load of bull too. Its a race bike, that you control the rev limiter for. You're telling me that Yamaha didn't realize a downshifting issue (the only possible way they could over rev) after the first couple of laps on Friday? 2 of the best riders in the world that put all of their laps within .1 seconds of each other lap they do?
