2015 Moto GP Thread.
Stoner back on a Repsol Honda....that would be amaze-*****. He seems to divide opinion, some love him others hate him. Personally I think his style is great to watch and he's fast as hell. Hopefully Stoner is inspired by Bayliss and gets the competitive bug again.
Just read Dani Pedrosa's blog. He's being a little cryptic with comments like 'That’s all I can say for now. I hope I can give you good news soon because I will make a decision in a few days.'
Hopefully decisions about the surgery/season and not retirement.

I think the reason for the hate is that he has a reputation for whining and sometimes, overreacting. I remember a few years back after the nuclear meltdown in Japan, he wanted to not go there for safety reasons despite being assured it was safe. That drew a lot of criticism. He hated the CRT idea. That drew a lot of criticism and he also complained a lot about risky riding from other riders. And I think anyone who says I'm retiring at the age of 27 for no other reason than "I don't like MotoGP anymore" rubs people the wrong way.
But the guy was incredible to watch. Rossi said he was the one guy who he feared racing when Stoner was on his game (that was before MM93 of course).
I'd like to see him back. I loved when Rossi took him out at Jerez (I think), and Casey told Rossi, "Your ambition outweighed your talent."
It looks, though, like Aoyama is tipped to ride for Pedro for the next two rounds.
As much as I don't like Pedrosa, its hard not to feel bad for him. Its getting odd that these guys are having to get surgery to properly ride these bikes...
I think he does need to leave Repsol. He's been there for 9 years and his opportunity for winning a WC is behind him now. It cannot be fun to be in that garage right now.
First, dear Fox Sports 1,
There are millions of fans that actually watch the racing, who can actually pronounce the names, and who would actually like to see the last few laps of the race. How in the world do they not have the replay issue fixed on the rerun??? Leave Ralph Sheehan at home next time. Hes about as accurate at pronouncing names as the local weather guy is predicting rain...
Did anyone else laugh their *** off when the commentator ran from the front of the grid back to Hayden? That was hilarious.
Hayden actually did pretty well considering he was able to chase every other customer Honda down and beat them despite being last into the first corner.
Scott took out Pol, reigniting some moto2 drama... But it was a pretty boneheaded move...
The racing out front was a whole lot better than last year, how cool was it to see 3 manufacturers on the podium?
And I was surprised at how good that Suzuki was at that fast of a track. The Ape...not so much.
Moto2 and Moto3 were good races too.

Like most of us, I had recorded the race and I was watching it Sunday afternoon. My sister in-law came over seeing that it was Master Sunday and I was watching the Moto2, she said, "I thought you liked golf?" I said, "Yea, I do." But if Tiger misjudges a putt by an less than an inch, he doesn't go sliding across the green with other golfers coming at him at 150mph." She said, "I see your point."
You're not kidding! The qualifying was amazing (again cut off by FS1) and then the race. I forget which publication had this headline, but it was really good.
"Marc Marquez sure does know his way around Austin"
