Drag a knee correctly
I read this on another forum and found it interesting.

Good pics. Remember this too: Dragging a knee is a result, not a goal.

No need for linky, Kdub.... just steal all the pics! http://shredguitars.com/images/smilies/thumbsup2.gif

Heh the 2nd from the last pic, the guy following looks like he's thinking "Oh God, I'm gonna be in a picture with someone looking that stupid :icon_doh:"
But I think the top pic does raise the question of which ones are actually wrong. I mean I can think of a time when you might want to look like the guy in the 2nd illustration: counter-balancing during a tight low speed turn. Think it'll all be rather situational. So long as you don't look like the guys in the last 2 pics :) |
LOL Thanks Kilgore

I think the riders in the last two pixs need their bike lic and man cards revoked!!! lol

The bottom right is the best of the group, but the bottom left is good except he's not over far enough. Combine the two, not bad. WHAT I SAID IN THE ORIGINAL POST: I prefer a position between the two (not completely hugging my tank but not riding high). |
I had no idea it took such skill to ride like this, I hope I get to a track soon to at least get to see it done in person. Johnnyh

not sure if i agree with the last two frames in the first picture, i always see pros with their head way low,
and if you think about it, if the centrifugal force is the same, then in the last frame it would be pulling the bike over more compared to the 2nd to last frame, since the cog is higher in the last from and farther away from the tire. although im sure there are many variables, plus theres no such thing as centrifugal force haha http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/PhotoG..._Cratchlow.jpg |
