Favorite among I've owned was a Shoei TZ-R, quiet, "race-fit", well-balanced weight... even if it wasn't that light. My "dream helmet" is the Shoei X-11 Diajiro Kato edition:

is the paint on the lens see through? or is alot of the view blocked?

 

highly doubt it see thru. but my bet is the helmet is more for looks than actual use...
