i wear steel toe over the ankle work boots for to/from work and Alpinestars SMX-R's for ANYTHING else. sneakers are a joke for street riding. even if you cant afford $350 boots, get some $40 walmart steel toe over the ankle work boots.

I wear Setup boots. My last getoff I hurt my foot (slight swelling, non-visible bruising, tenderness). How did I hurt it?

My stock peg folded up during the lowside and into my foot with enough force that the aluminum holding the peg onto the bracket snapped off because it couldn't flex anymore because my boot was there. If I had been wearing sneakers, my foot would have been crushed. I'm happy with the protection I got from the boot. But, if I believed in Santa Claus I ask him for a pair of Sidi Vertigo Corsa's

I rock the A*smx4 when iridetoo, unless its to work, then its basketball sneakers [:'(], only reason is htat is a less than 1 mile ride and i work on my feet all day and cant do workboots, tried it once and the blisters took a week to go away haha
I feel the exact same way, i feel that they are MORE comfortable than the timberland work boots i wore before i had these

 

my steel toed red wings when im riding to and from work. My icon field armor boots any other time. ($76 on ebay .... new.)

 

Once I started wearing motorcycle boots, I couldn't go back to the dead feeling of my heavy military steel boots.

If anyone is looking for Sidi Vertigos (not corsa, not air) i have a pair BRAND NEW, i wore em once to test fit and took for a ride but there slightly too big. There a size 44EU and 10-10.5 according to sidi but fit more towards the 10.5. Bought em from another guy on my car forum they didnt fit his feet and he waited too long to return em so im stuck with em and they wont fit. Looking for 235$ shipped. There brand new i wore them for a 5mi ride.

I wear work boots for work, and usually when i go out riding. If someone buys these Sidis off me ill be able to buy em again in the proper size.
