I just bought a pair of Icon Super Duty 2 boots in BLK/Stealth for $65.

It compliments my Icon Super Duty 2 Pants (Black) and Icon Accelerant Perforated Leather Jacket (White).

I also love the fact that it makes me an inch taller - I'm 5'8" BABY.

kpipalldaway, go find the video of the guy doing a wheelie, crashing and his foot turned 90 degrees. Guess what he was wearing?

I have the all black with white labeling A* SMX-4's. I love em, I catch myself wearing them at school and around the house after I get home, they are just way to comfortable for me.
I wear the same boots, except blue/black.. Love them..

I always wear boots, they stop your feet from moving into weird postions if you go down..Boots are like jackets and pants. Not everyone wears them or wants to spend the money on them.
Good gear is a LOT cheaper than skin graphs and broken bones(not saying it cant happen but will keep it to a min compaired to nothing).

your feet are complicated pieces of "structure", they are all you got to stand on. DON'T skimp on protection for them.

im a noob, and i dont really understand why boots are so necessary?
For protection of your ankle and foot. I've seen videos of guys crashing with tennis shoes and they came right off in an accident. Boots won't come off and they protect your ankle from bending. Try walking around in a set of raceboots and you'll see what I mean. I don't like riding without them.

I switch between DC skate shoes, Vans, and sometimes a set of chucks. For the bike I'm currently looking into getting set of ICON boots to match the rest of my gear. I'm not sure if I should go with one of the super duty lines or just get the field armor boots. You can never have too much protection.
