Default Vega Nitro Techsport boots?

This seems to be one of the cheapest sport riding boots available (online). Sad part is that it's not available in any of my local stores so I cant evaluate it first hand

Does anyone have experience with them? How (badly?) do they fare in terms of safety and comfort when compared to say, a $200 alpinestars boot?

Thanks

I bought a pair of these last year because I needed something better than sneakers.

Pros-
If you were that size, order that size. Size 11 is a size 11.
The leather is a little stiff and takes about 10 rides to break them in real nice.
Very cushiony
Have rear leg support
Toe sliders are replaceable
Great for a wide foot

Cons
The inner ankle guards that have the allen head screw in them?? Take them off, they rub your heal guard bad.
They flop just a little if you were them without leathers.
I can't think of any.

Summary-

I have a pair of Alpinestar SMX and I like the nitro's better for fit and comfort. I'm gonna get another pair.

Cool... thanks.

EDIT:
So I bought a pair. They're very comfortable for wide feet... Protection is reasonable for price. If you're into racing or something though you need more

Oh man...i was reading reviews from different sites and finally bought those boots...AND WOW...they are comfortable!! Even for the first ride...i think i broke them in! They are great boots as far as comfort goes. As protection goes compared to the big names....I'd give it a 8/10 compared to SIDI at 9/10
