Default Vanson Suit

I have a Vanson Velocity Race suit...1 piece.
I chose this suit for a few different reasons..
1. I had it custom fitted so it doesnt bunch up or get uncomfortable, when I am riding I forget it is even on since it was tailored for me. I tend to wider than I am tall so anything that would fit me in the jacket would make the legs waaaayyyy too long.
2. Vanson has the ability to repair the suit and wash/redyde it. This may not sound like a big deal, but I crashed at the track at about 100M.P.H ( on a FZ1) and it left the left side of my suit and my butt looking like someone had taken a blowtorch too it!!
I sent it in and in 4 weeks had it back with the damaged panels replaced or repaired and the entire suit washed and re-dyed. I would have to point out where the repairs were done otherwise you would never had known.
Try that with a lesser suit!! If you crash in a Joe Rocket, or something like it..well you just crashed..good luck and buy another one!!
3. Vanson offers trackside repairs..for example if you are at a race ( like Daytona or something) and Vanson is there is nthe pits or something, they travel with a seamstress and if you have a zipper on your suit or Vanson Jacket, they can usually repair it on the spot!!
4. They actually work! Like I said I crashed at 100 and had no injury from the pavement!! I was sore for a few days from getting slammed into the ground, but the suit did its job. The suit came with the F.A.S. ( Floating Armor System) including a built in back protector and it all works awesome. You can't tell the stuff is in there unless you knock in it with your knuckles or skip across the road on your back!! Ground..SKY...GROUND...SKY..that is how my last crash went
4. They are not CHEAP..but worth it. With all the value of the custom fiting and repair service not to mention the durability..I would never buy a cheap suit again. Buy a suit for $500 and crash..buy a nother for $500...hope you dont need fitting!!
