Default tail bag for 600rr

I have a 05 600rr and have removed everything except for the exhaust, as many of you probably have, and I don't see a way to strap a tail bag to anything solid. So I am wondering what you all are doing/use?

Thanks
Thom

Well, I would suggest a tank bag, but since you have a plastic tank cover it wouldn't work since most bags are magnetic. If you could find one that was held on another way, that's what I'd do. They don't get in the way either.

Nelson-Riggs has some tailbags that may work for you. I couldn't find anything specifically made for the 600rr. Like dwhite said with the tank cover being plastic you can't use a tank bag. The only other option I could think of would be just a good riding backpack.

I currently carry a backpack but that is just annoying. I will check out Nelson-Riggs. Thanks.

Why not just rig up some quick release tie down brackets that you can put on & off that your tail bag will attach to. I'm running with a Cortech Tail bag on my 06RR, but I haven't removed all the hardware in the rear so I still have stuff to hook to.

That is my problem. I have an exhaust pipe and plastic. so the only thing I think I could tie to would be running a strap under my back seat?

If you can do that on the 600rr I would suggest it. I've strapped mine under the seat on my 954 for past few years with no problems. Works well for me ... but it's easy on the to take on and off on 954 cause the rear seat flips up. does seat on 600rr come off and on easy?

Try cortech tail bag, it hooks to itself easily, been riding with one for a while and not one problem!
