Default Sidi Vertigo Air

Hey guys,

I recently picked up a pair of the Sidi Vertigo Air boots and had a question about fitting. So from what I notice is that Sidi normally half sizes except between Size 10 and 11. There is no 10.5. It jumps from a 44 EURO to a 45 EURO. The thing is 10 is too tight and 11 is a bit loose (works better with double tube socks)

My question is how are these boots supposed to fit? The Size 10's gave me a super snug fit around the ankle but pressed too hard on the top of my big, index, and middle toe (where it's susceptible to corn). The 11's have a great fit around my feet and toes, but the ankle is not as snug as the 10's (still snug though with double tube socks). I probably can't return the 11's since I already wore them but was wondering if there is a special sock for this situation. Thanks!

You can always cut the foot out of a pair of tube socks if needed. Or will the boot fit over your pants???

The boot fits over my pants snug. My calves arent that swoll so they don't fit snug in the boot. When I put the boots over the pants, it's a perfect fit. Since I'm a new rider, I don't want it to look squidish! let me break in a couple thousand miles first! I don't think it should be a problem though. The double tubes are holding the ankle just fine.

I will admit it's a different beast then rocking my Pumas. I was so able to get underneath the shifter quickly (with the Pumas). It took me a little time to adjust to that with the SIDI's

I think you should go for the snug fitting boot. Boots tend to break in after awhile, so the 44's should be pretty comfy in no time.

The 44's were tight beyond explanation! I mean my feet will be in PAIN after a short ride! The 45's are a little discomforting as it stands. Either than that, it's good to go!
