Default Riding Gear - what do you wear?

I have recently returned to the bike world and am having a blast .. admittedly I am fair weather rider....so for now I have the following gear:

Arai helmet
Rev'it Air jacket
and Shift Fury riding gloves....

next are riding boots and what about pants? I feel kinda vulnerable riding in jeans but i don't want bulky leathers. any suggestions?

thanks

helmet: Joe Rocket RKT101 Carbon Fiber
Jacket: Dainese New Delmar Perforated Leather Jacket
Gloves: Dainese 4 Stroke Gloves
Pants: Shift Torque Street Jeans
Boots: Dainese TRQ Race Out Boots or Dainese Quito Leather Riding Shoes

Shift Torque Street Jeans have 0 impact protection. But they have kevlar reinforcements in the knees and butt (common abrasion areas)

Jacket(s): Alpinestars TZ1, Icon Daytona, Joe Rocket -Team Honda textile.
Gloves: Alpinestars SP2, Icon Merc gauntlet, Joe Rocket Super Moto, Sidi Power, Spidi Race Vent.
Pants: Alpinestars track pants w/ pucks (zip to TZ1 jacket to make 2pc suit)
Boots: Sidi Vertigo x2, Alpinestars touring
Leathers: Spidi NRG

For hot weather, I use UnderArmor HeatGear under my suit.
For cold weather, I use UnderArmor ColdGear, Buff neck gator & Tourmaster silk glove liners.

If you don't want to wear standard leather track pants, the Icon Automag Leather Overpants are a great option. Also, the Carhartt double-thick/front jeans are very durable.

Been looking for a textile jacket for summer riding. One of those mesh ones with
the armour. My leather jacket is just a bit much at 105. Been wearing a leather vest,
but that don't help shoulders n elbows.

The rest of the ensemmble...leather chaps, helmet (with blue-tooth stereo), Sidi boots and ALWAYS gloves (finger-less w/reinforced palms, atm).

Current Gear-

Helmet(s): Arai Profile.
Jacket(s): Komodo Ceno leather .
Gloves: Spidi STR-1, Highvelocitygear group buy supposed to happen soon...
Pants: Forcefield Pro 'under'-pants (also have the Pro Shorts), + Spidi Hurricane textile pants.
Boots: Xpd WP-7 WRS
Leathers: none
Back Protector(s): The CE certified one in the Komodo Ceno. Looking for a Forcefield insert soon!

For hot weather (up to 125F), I use an LDComfort mock turtleneck shirt under my gear soaked w/water. I also have a phase-change vest.
For 'cold' weather (meaning down to ~freezing; hey, it's Phoenix!), I use an LDComfort mock turtleneck shirt under my gear.

I would recommend the Rev'it AIR jacket.....it has amazing ventilation and good armor,,, its been the hottest summer on record here in Toronto and its handled the heat very well.
