For 300 bucks for Vertigos they better be able to put themselves on my feet and buckle up for me right!
nope they dont do that. But they sure do protect you feet n ankles just like they are designed to do. Mine have proved their selves in one get off, and a few kicks to save the bike when the rear stepped out, and one hue rock lol

Not trying to hijack your thread but what boots for folks (like myself [>:]) with hard inserts for very high arches? I have noticed that because of my high arches the shifter pad bites into my foot when I take a step. Anyone have this issue?

Gees I dont know. hmmm...
Are you talking about the thickness of where the pad is sewn on in the inside of the boot or is it just where the boot bends so when you walk it digs in? I guess I would try to glue a small piece of padding or something that will kinda cushion the blow so to speak.my boots are smoothall the way from the toes back, they might not be too bad for ya, they're pretty flexible in that area too.good luck, it must be frustrating the hell out of you.

I had my choices narrowed down to Alp* S MX-R (was one of the better looking boots from them), Sidi B2 or TCX Competizione S.

I'm going with the TCX. I think they look the best. I haven't had any track days, but probably will once or twice this year? This boot will be plenty for my aggressive street riding and will be good enough for the track. Can't wait for them to come in!!!
