Default preforated, or non-preforated?

im interested in finally getting my winter jacket.

i live in so cal, and lately, we've been getting low 30 degree nights, and im on the market for some winter protection.

ive had my eye on the Sonic 2.0 jacket from joe rocket. but it comes in perforated, and non perforated. both of them have liners, so im not understanding why one is better than the other? can anyone shed some insight. thanks.

all i can tell, the perforated has all those tiny holes, but does wind really make it through them?

the perforated does let air thru and you will really notice it when its cold. If you're wanting is solely for cold weather get the non-perforated. I wear leather year round n both my jackets are perforated. I just layer up under it when its cold. I do to get a non-perforated eventually tho.

so it is noticeable?

im going to dedicate this to severe so cal weather.. lol, so i might go with the non-preforated, besides i have a sweet honda branded textile jacket i normally wear, but its not cutting it. i need to step my leather game up.

thanks for the reply.. any other comments anyone?

I wear that exact jacket here in SD. It is perfect for our climate. When it's cooler outside, I just wear another shirt or two under it. And in the Summer when it's very hot, it breathes well. Except at a stop in the blazing Sun.

I have a 5 month old Joe Rocket AMA SuperMoto, fully padded, all leather, perforated jacket.

Thing is hot as hell in the summer, and cold as hell in the winter.

Protection is probably unsurpassed, (luckily have not had to find out as of this post), but is not the most practical thing I have ever seen.

Stunningly modled here by your's truly. Hehe...
