Default Need help with Arai helmet?

I bought a used helmet (Arai Aoki Piranha) and it did not have side covers. I bought the side covers and for some reason I can't get them to lock on[:@]!! They keep coming off at the bottom where the lock is. I'm looking for possible suggestions to keep them on or if someone has a similar type of Arai helmet and could you send me pics without the covers on so I can see if something is broke or missing.
Thanks

Are these interior covers like cheek pads? Or external covers? Please specify.

They are the exterior covers. I've removed the visor and locked the side, but when pushing the cover on it pops right off. Could the locks be bad? It seems they do not want to stay locked. The exterior covers are new so I don't know what is wrong.

My man has an Arai. I will ask him about it. If you want, shoot him a PM, his name is Rev.
