Default Need Helmet For Under $300

Can anyone recommend me a good helmet for under $300? Preferably yellow or yellow/black.

I am planning on getting a new helmet in the next 2 weeks since the one I have came with the bike and although it's in good condition, I prefer to get a new and somewhat better one.

Current one is a HJC RS-12.

There are MANY options for a decent sub $300 helmet. Motorcycle Superstore has a huge selection with reviews on many of them that can help narrow down your choice.

You should get one that fits your SHAPE head, not just the size. Here's a chart on many of them.

Motorcycle Helmet Reviews by Shape

I bought my helmet from them. When I couldn't decide on which one I wanted out of narrowing it down to two I bought them both and returned the one I didn't want after evaluating both of them at home. They have a fairly good and easy return policy.

Check out the Scorpions. You get a lot of helmet for the money.

MS has good prices on them. Might even find one on clearance for under $100.

2nd on the Scorpion. I loved all 3 of my Scorpions. One really saved my ***. If I wasn't wearing it - I'm not sure I'd know how to walk or talk right now. But with it, I didn't even stop rolling on the ground before I was running after my bike. (Hit the ground 40-50 mph)

EXO-700.

And they have color combos that'll be right up your alley.

The EXO 500 is cheaper version of the 1000. You get the fighter pilot tinted visor inside!

If your an IO head shape, the Scorpion Exo 410 is the best fitting but if you want to spend the full $300 and get a really great helmet, the Scorpion Exo1100 is where it's at!

The eco 410 is the new version of the eco 400... I'm buying one today, worth every penny!

I have an exo1100. It has the drop down visor, ECE and DOT rated, similar to the EXO500 but lights fiberglass/ Kevlar construction.

Love it
