Default Looking for helmets with HUD

Google didn't bring much results, anybody have one or know of a good place to look ?

Although this sounds awesome, wouldn't it be distracting?

What kind of info would be on it? Time, date and ambient temperature?

I have seen a HUD rear view in a helmet but then again I think it would be way more distracting having that in your view instead of looking down for the 1/4 of a sec to see what speed your going.

HUD=Heads up display for the person who asked.
I've found a few and I know they are out there for the right price.

Heres a decent example -> Retro-fit heads-up display system for motorcycle and bicycle helmets

Maybe they are just not as common as I thought they are, technology hasn't quite made them so available yet.

That's what they said about HUD on vehicle windshields in the 90's but they are bringing it back. It's not distracting if setup right. The HUD in my buddys 09vette is flawless.

someone just posted a hud product similar to this one the other day but i cant find the thread....

MOD Live GPS Heads up Display | Recon Instruments

its a little display you can put inside your helmet.


Or theres the sportvue mc2 which mounts outside your visor but i cant seem to find it for sale anywhere so that doesnt help
