light or dark visor for helmet ?

i can see with the dark cloudy or bright, just not as good at night usually i pack my clear. Now i think im gonna get a mirror tho from what im reading here.

I always carry 2 visors, I have a chrome mirroed on and a clear, I can barely see at night with the mirrored(it is tinted and works great to keep the sun out of my eyes) I have rode at night with the mirroed visor when i forgot my clear one, and I could see enough to get home, but the distance you can see is cut to about 25%(It was ok in town where there was street lamps)....
