leather jacket..how tight?

Default leather jacket..how tight?

i just recieved my alpinestars ice jacket in the mail and im not sure about the size. its snug but not uncomfortable...will the leather stretch a lil as it breaks in? im worried if i got a size up the sleeves will be too long as these are the perfect length thanx!

It shoudl break in as you use it and not be so tight.

yeah i made the mistake of buying my first jacket too big and the sleeves were too long.

It sounds like the jacket's a perfect size. It should be snug, just like your helmet. If you take a spill, you don't want to be shifting around inside the jacket and not have the armour/padding not in the right places to protect you.

If you don't mind I would like to ask how about how long? Mine is a little shy of my waist, but the sleeves are great and it fits like a glove. Is this a good length?

When you say the sleeves are the perfect length, do you mean while you are standing or when you are on your bike? When you are standing the sleeves should be a little longer to compensate for when your arms are streched holding the handle bars.

I like my jackets to be just big enough that I can throw on a light sweat shirt underneath if needed.

When on and off the bike they are good. I like the way it fits, so I think I'm not going to worry about it...
