I currently have a Icon timax jacket (mesh).
Idon't really like it because it big on the sleeves.

I was thinkin about buyin a leahter jacket this year since leather is better.
do you guys have any opinion on what brands I should look at?

I thought about Alpinestars MX1 its an 07 model looks pretty sweet
Its about $550, doyou think its to much for a jacket?

 

I picked up this one on ebay for 75$ no reserve the fool, normally $300 Ce armor in shoulder and elbows and a mini hump on the back. AGV tlx airflow. I'm a cheap bastard so I think thats too much to pay, hell I think 300 is pushing it on the leather jackets, but it's the only thing seperating you from the ground on a fall. Alpinestars is a great brand/quality. I really like the 2007 lines of Icon but damn the prices. I always get last year models.

I don't really like to spend to much money on the jacket either but if it saves my ***. I gotta get it.
The reason why i'm goin with leather is because a lot of people on the forum say its the best.
they say mesh if you go down can actually melt onto your skin.

Plus i'm picky on the way it looks, not that looks matter but if i'm spendin $300 plus at least I need to get something that looks decent.
