Default Icon team merc jacket?

I have been looking for a jacket but cant decide. I like the icon Team merc jacket. Does anyone have any experience with it? The price is another reason I like it. I also like the Joe Rocket Sonic 2.0 jacket wich is leather but is a little high for me. Any suggestions?

i had originally bought an icon jacket and i was told they are mostly stunt jackets and they don't have alot of protection but it was comfortable as hell.

Does the Icon team merc jacket have pre-curved sleeves? And adjustable straps to make sleeves tighter? How about wind flap woth those sleeves?

I have the ICON Merc jacket--not the team, but I think they're built the same. I am very, very happy with it. It does have pre-curved sleeves but no adjustments. The material they are made of combined with the stiffness of padding keeps them from flapping at all. As for crash protection, I recently was hit by a car while riding and tumbled through an intersection and walked away without a mark on my upper body. My left leg was a different story, but the jacket performed remarkably and hardly shows a scuff. It has shoulder and elbow/forarm padding that is nice and dense, not just cheap foam. and the nylon is sturdy stuff.

I also like the collarless neck. In the summer it allows more airflow and in the winter I can wear a fleece with a collar underneath and it is still comfortable around the neck.

I don't have a ton of experience with other jackets, but like i said, I am very, very happy with the Merc.

Hope that's helpful.
