yep, i've got this one (see pic below). at first it was really stiff. but i guess you'll have that w/ any leather jacket. it have broken in to a extremely comfortable jacket! get the correct size and you barely know you're wearing it. the wind never picks it up any, and i think it has a great look.

I have the first generation of the Neo Daytona jacket. The newer version is not that different than mine. They are "straight cut", so when you are off your bike, you don't look like a Power Ranger.

I live out in San Diego and I only wear this jacket between the end of Sept - end of April. During the summer this jacket, like any leather jacket, is hot. Getting caught in a couple of lights will have me sweating.

I like the jacket alot, and after two years its holding up fine. I broke the tab off the zipper once. I had it repaired for $20.

I don't like all the branding that Icon puts on their products now. So, if and when I have to replace my jacket, I probably wouldn't replace it with the newer Neo Daytona. But to each is his own.

I have the same jacket as jaynd and i also love it. I tried on alot of jackets and this one by far fits me the best. I think by straight cut lifties means the arms aren't pre-bent and pufed out with padding. You know like a power ranger. lol

Yeah, straight cut means not tight. It also means, that the bottom is tappered, so it isn't form fitting. The arms do have some slight pre curve in them.

Haha, I got a yellow and black Daytona, a tad bit big, but better than nothing. It has a removable liner if you get too hot. Overall a comfortable jacket.

I bought and then crashed in an Icon Timax Mesh Jacket. I was going approximately - 50 miles per hour when I wrecked. Adeer jumped the bike hitting me in the head. I flew off the bike and hit the road. I slid over pavement, then to small gravel, then to larger (fist size) rocks and then ended up in the dirt next to a large gas pipe coming out of the ground. The deer died on impact. My Icon jacket had a hole on my left shoulder where the pad moved and the mesh was ground away. It ground right down to my shoulder and took off an old scar I had from an older wreck. I have pictures of the jacket I was wearing. I will try and put them on here. The jacket did real well. After I wrecked my Ninja, I bought my 98 CBR600F3 Smokin Joes and I am still wearing the same Icon Jacket. My helmet was a mess. Scratches and gouges all over it. I am glad I was wearing a helmet. The helmet was an HJC-15. I was also wearing Aviation Pilot gloves. Somewhere during the wreck the gloves came off.My hands became skinned up a little. I now wear the Icon Jacket and Icon Gloves, leather bootsand a new helmet everywhere I go. I have owned 3 previous motorcycles and I have had deer HIT ME (not me run into them) on all three previous motorcycles over a period of 15 years. Needless to say I am a little "gun-shy" (deer-shy). My CBR has a D&D exhaust on it and it is freakin loud! The last time I saw deer - while I was riding - they were 300 yards away running away from my loud bike (I presume), but I still don't trust'em. they are out to get me!
