How should the helmet fit?
I am completely new to riding. The helmet I have came with the bike last year. How should it fit.
Mine is okay around the head, but my cheeks don't even touch the pads. I have been told they are supposed to.
This probably answers my own question, but I can actually twist it a tad on my head.
Thanks

I can type out what's in the owner's manual for the helmet I bought today:
My opinion on used helmets is they're fine for someone without any gear whatsoever... Fine for them to get the bike home. As soon as the bike is in the lot / driveway / garage, it should stay there till they get a helmet of their own.
- Check for a proper fit
- The helmet inner lining fits snugly around your head
- The top pad presses firmly onto your head
- The cheek pads contact your cheeks
- There is no spare around your brow under the inner lining
- Test the helmet fit by placing your hands on each side of the helmet. While holding your your head as motionless as possible, try rotating your helmet from left to right then up and down. If you can feel the helmet padding sliding on your head, it is too big. You should feel the helmet move the skin on your head and face as your try to move the helmet
- Test the chin strap
- Put your hands on the back of the helmet and try to push the helmet off by rotating it forward
- Put your hands on the front of the helmet above your forehead and try to push the helmet off by rotating it backwards. If it comes off try another size, model or brand
